This set of douments is intended for use in the course English for Lawyers II – in the second semester of the first year of the undergraduate study at the Faculty of Law in Osijek. It provides additional lessons, grammar and exercises that are to be used in combination with the textbook English for Lawyers, which remains the primary and obligatory literature for English courses I through IV in the first four semesters of study.

The materials are divided into several categories according to their content: lectures; additional reading; grammar with exercises; glossary of latin legal terms. Within each of the above categories, texts are further organized into groups to form units with questions, tasks and exercises for reading and practice. The students are welcome to comment the contents of the given materials (preferably in classes) and to give suggestions for possible improvements that would make these materials more interesting and useful for all students regardless of their proficiency in English.

I hope that the texts will not only be of use in improving and extending the knowledge of legal English, but that they will also be helpful in the understanding of other courses within the study.
